Dating/marrying a single mother?

This is what I have noticed from different interactions with some depressed family and friends. They tend to doubt themselves and what they can do.
Most times they keep to themselves too and don’t leave the house.

Do you notice that as well? What can help?

What do you think about going into a relationship with single mothers? I'm not in support of it because I don't believe a man who wants to start his own family should join another woman with another man's child.

Would you date/marry a single mother?
 
Depressed people can be self conscious especially when they are in the midst of people. This is not always the case though, but it happens.
 
Depression can make people doubt themselves and withdraw from others. I think having someone who listens without judging, checking up on them and also encouraging them to take small steps can help. Sometimes, just knowing that someone cares makes a difference than thinking that we all are fine.
 
When depression can make someone take their own lives, it causing lack of confidence is the least things it's capable of doing.

It's very difficult to do that when they are not easily opening up to people who are close to them. This why so many people die in silence until the point where they can't do it anymore and kill themselves.
