Rescue Remedy, has Anyone Tried it?

It's an off-the-shelf anxiety medicine that comes in a liquid form that you drop under your tongue twice when needed; as expected, it's bitter and unpleasant. I have always found diazepam to be a better, more-effective treatment but has Rescue Remedy worked for anyone here?

I haven't tried it but I've heard of it. I think the stuff has been going around for years. I remember my grandma talking about it once lol.

I think RR is nothing much more than a placebo. I have used it quite often and haven't noticed any shifting in my anxiety. It might be interesting to look into what goes into the stuff. It clearly works for some.

I've never heard of this but I'm intrigued. I have diazepam now but I don't really want to be relying on benzos all of my life. I'll definitely look into this, thanks a lot.

I have never heard of this even though there are other rescue remedy that I have heard. I don't depend on these anymore, I am free and I am happy about that.

I have never been in a situation to actually need this. I have never used it before or it’s equivalent.
Using rescue remedy for depression might be good or better. Sometimes, I'm worried about all these medications that we take while depressed. Is there no other thing that can cure depression apart from medicines?
